About the Clubhouse

Clubhouse Information

The Somerset Clubhouse is a cooperatively owned building of the Somerset Village and Garden Apartment Association (VAGA). It was built in 1999 and has become a favorite meeting place for Somerset residents. The Clubhouse was originally built by local developers and apartment owners, who together comprise VAGA, for the sole purpose of serving Somerset apartment residents.

Membership

As the subdivision evolved, the Clubhouse became more of a neighborhood community building and all Somerset residents wanted to enjoy its amenities. The group of owners agreed, and the Somerset Clubhouse and pool have been serving Somerset residents ever since. Membership for non-apartment residents in Somerset is optional and available for a nominal annual membership fee, while Clubhouse membership remains a part of the rental package for most Somerset apartments. The clubhouse is a secure building that is accessible via a code and key pad system for its membership only. It remains locked most of the time, but is always accessible to its membership via their personalized access codes. Clubhouse reservations for members only are available via email request.

Clubhouse Amenities

The Somerset Clubhouse has two meeting rooms, a copier room/business center and free Wi-Fi. The large meeting room can accommodate approximately 50-60 people and houses eight rectangular tables that are 7 feet in length. A pull down projector screen is perfect for business presentations and the attached kitchen is ideal for social gatherings as well. This bright space is a popular spot for meetings, training sessions and happy gatherings alike.

The small conference room is perfect for more intimate meetings and can easily accommodate a group of 10-15. There is a single, 7-foot table with accompanying chairs and additional tables can be moved to accommodate larger groups. This space boasts a view of the attached outdoor pool.

The attached outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and cannot be reserved for private gatherings. The small outdoor poolhouse conveniently includes two locker rooms with showers for quick changes and a refreshing rinse after a day in the sun.
